With increasing temperatures and an uncontrollable climate, the world needs to act now. Offshore wind and other green energy sources are key to reducing carbon emissions. For decades, the Nordic region has been at the forefront of the energy transition and now has some of the cleanest energy mixes in the world.
Â
The purpose is to not only advocate for technological solutions as cost efficient drivers, but also for the overall social and sustainable gain. The seminar invites innovative green energy companies, government officials and thought leaders to discuss (a) prospects and barriers facing companies delivering green energy solutions to the U.S., and (b) how to accelerate the U.S. offshore wind sector by collaborating across borders to bridge the supply chain and workforce gaps.
Â
This seminar series promotes green and sustainable Nordic tech solutions and success stories to relevant U.S. stakeholders and industries. This is part of the Nordic Consulates' common work towards the SDGs.Â
*Video recording:Â A photographer from the Consulate General of Denmark in New York will be present at the seminar.
